This year we are very pleased to offer schools and colleges the opportunity to receive Alps Monitoring Reports.
We have developed this new report as a response to the many requests we have received.
The Alps Monitoring Report is based on the progress/monitoring grades collected by your school or college through the year. All we require is that you send us your students progress/monitoring grades at each of your monitoring sessions, using the Alps Data Collection Software (available free to download) and send them to Alps. We will produce for you an A and/or AS report which will include a familiar level of analysis using Alps thermometers, colours and grades at institution, course, band and student level.
The Alps Monitoring Report does something that is both simple and powerful. It is a report that addresses the question, ‘If students achieved these monitoring/progress grades at the end of their courses, what would the value added performance of our students and the institution be?’ The monitoring report does this by aggregating progress grades. This report will allow you to closely monitoring the performance of your students while they are still on the course and will clearly identify those students and courses that are most at risk of underperforming, while there is still time to do something about it.
