LA / Groups of Schools

We have worked with 88 local authorities in the past 3 years. For local authorities or trust / academy groups we are able to provide Alps Group Summary Reports.

The LA/Partnership reports give incisive detailed analysis of the performance of each school or college in the group by overall performance and by subject.

As with each Alps report the analysis is easy to use and is graded and colour coded for easy interpretation.

Local Authority / Group Projects

We work with new local authority areas each year and increasingly are working with other groups of schools, for example academy trusts.

For local authorities, especially in these turbulent times, the common language that Alps provides between the LA and the providers has proved essential to enable LAs to take part in ‘strategic’ conversations around the quality of provision with the providers in their authority. Alps uniquely provides the LA with this summative data early in October, when it is most useful.

We have found extensively that for new areas the Alps projects are the most effective way to across an area :

• Provide reports at the start of term, to allow each school and college to start strategic planning when required the most
• Give reporting analysis at both school/college level and area wide level, so ensuring a common language at all levels
• Through the training, ensure all project stakeholders have a full understanding of Alps and how it can help improvement
• Through training help individual schools and colleges to identify what are the areas on which they need to focus
• Allow area wide analysis to look at subject and school/college performance as a whole to allow strategic planning, support and collaboration
