Welcome to Alps™
The Advanced Level Performance System (Alps) is a nationally used A level and AS level analysis and training package for delivering quality improvement in schools and colleges. It was developed to raise standards in education on a national scale and to engage with teachers and educational professionals to give them practical tools to achieve this.
If you choose to use Alps, you will be taking a positive step towards delivering improvement for your school, college or region, and one which has been proved to work.
In 2006-2007, over 1000 schools and colleges in 87 Local Authorities and 16 local Learning and Skills Councils received Alps analysis. We have also provided top quality regional training attended by over 8500 senior teaching professionals in the past three years.
Alps is recognised by national bodies such as the DCSF, OFSTED, the Learning and Skills Council, Local Authorities, the Sixth Form Colleges Forum and the QIA as a leading value-added analysis and training system to be used in schools and colleges.
The Alps analysis and training is available to all schools and colleges individually, or as part of a regional project. A Local Authority (LA), local Learning and Skills Council (LSC) or 'challenge' project can contract with Alps to provide analysis and training for each school or college in its area.
