Services
The Advanced Level Performance System (Alps) combines analysis of students' A level, AS level and BTEC National results with follow-up training in schools and colleges. We offer a bespoke service and can tailor a project to individual needs. The goal is to improve student achievement and to enhance teaching and learning on a national scale.
An Alps project typically consists of the following
- Alps report based on analysis of data
- Bespoke training
- Follow-up support and advice
The services are offered to all schools individually or as part of a regional project set up by a Local Authority (LA).
The Alps Reports
The Alps A level, AS level or BTEC report is a statistical analysis of an institution's results, and shows a school or college how it is performing against a national benchmark. The report shows an institution where its strengths and weaknesses are and can then be used as a tool for improvement.

Training
Alps provides bespoke training to schools and colleges as well as training packages within LA projects. The three main areas of training that are offered have been identified as essential in order to create a top performing school or college:

- Target Setting, Monitoring, Guidance and Support
- Engaging Learners
All courses are led by our experienced senior staff of education providers that have used Alps systems successfully.
